A Quixotic Haven

This is the place I come to be with my thoughts. To remember where I come from and to imagine where I'm going. We cannot change the past but we can change the future.

About Me

James Kane
My name is Kane, James Kane for at least the purposes of blogging. Some of you will know my actual name or recognize me from my charming photo. While this blog make lead to many new adventures, the primary objective is it to explore the depths of my own soul and to get to know myself just a little bit better. I'm a writer and I find I am prone to depression when my mind is not occupied. Nothing makes me happier than putting words on a page. I've been a writer for the majority of my life, since I could read and write in fact. I excelled in written assignments throughout my scholastic career and decided to major in journalism at college. After obtaining my journalism degree from a four year university I entered a world where journalism jobs are few and far between. I developed the skills I needed to do well, but then found no place to use them. In order to keep my skills and my mind sharp I've decided that being a published author in the form of a blog is a good idea. No need to let all that potential go to waste. I'm a journalist after all, and a good one.
